Researcher/Story Editor/Associate Producer
A project or contract Researcher position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at The ACT3 Agency.
Salary range: $20.00 to $30.00 (hourly rate) - subject to experience
We're seeking a resourceful, detail-oriented research expert with podcast experience to help us create a fascinating, 8-part narrative podcast about Wall Street during the turn of the 20th century.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in researching historical facts with depth and accuracy. We're looking for someone who can dig beyond the easily-accessible information and find the story within the story.
Your first task will be to work diretly with the podcast's Producer to develop ten story ideas, along with finding two to three potential guest subjects who can serve as experts on the material. After the stories have been approved, you'll work as a Story Editor to help polish scripts, and as an Associate Producer to help organize and edit interviews with guests and experts.
This is a contract position with an hourly rate. We estimate an initial three hours per episode for story development, then we'll work out additional tasks based on the pace and scope of work. Please also understand that this position requires a native-level fluency in English.
Please begin your cover letter with "Yo JT" so we know you've read this description in its entirety. Thanks for your consideration!
