Project Manager for Podcast Agency
A part time position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Story On Media.
Salary range: $25.00 to $40.00 (hourly rate) - subject to experience

We’re looking for a part-time Project Manager who can take ownership of our podcast production workflows. You’ll be the glue that holds everything together: Tracking timelines, coordinating with all team members, and ensuring episodes go out on time and error-free.

About the Role As our Project Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Manage podcast production timelines in ClickUp.
- Manage the onboarding timeline of our new clients from the first call to the handover to production.
- Manage and organize client files and folders in Google Drive.
- Assign tasks and follow up with internal editors, writers, and assistants.
- Maintain smooth communication with team and clients about project status and deliverables.
- Perform light quality control before final delivery (e.g. naming conventions, missing files, duplicate content).
- Optimize and maintain templates and workflow efficiency.
- Identifying efficiencies in the organization's workflows and overseeing implementing improved workflows.
- Create systems for batching, automations, and scale.
Requirements:
- Passion: You love content that is authentic and business and organizations that are focused on a mission. You also love quality content that is inspirational and story-focused.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience managing creative or media projects
- Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite and experience working with project management tools. Familiarity with ClickUp is a plus.
- Communication: Must be an excellent communicator throughout projects. Excellent written and verbal communication. Must also be available for weekly team meetings. Have worked with remote teams and thrive in async environments.
- Timezone: Must be available for at least partial crossover with American time zones.
Working with Story On:
- You will be an Independent contractor, paid hourly. You must have your own technical setup for completing your work.
- Part-time position (approx. 20 hours/week), with potential to grow into full-time as the client roster and role responsibility expands. Pay range: $25-$40/hr DOE.
- 100% remote. Work from anywhere in a compatible timezone.
- Must be available for weekly all-team check-ins and occasional one-to-ones.
