Salary range: $21.00 to $70.00 (hourly rate) - subject to experience
We are seeking experienced Audio Editing & Production Experts with strong practical knowledge of Audacity to support an AI training and evaluation project.
You will perform real-world audio editing tasks, demonstrate professional editing workflows through screen recordings, and explain your processes step by step. Your work will help improve AI systems' ability to understand and perform audio editing and production tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform audio editing and production tasks using Audacity.
Edit, trim, merge and mix audio recordings.
Apply noise reduction, sound enhancement and audio cleanup techniques.
Adjust volume levels, equalization and audio quality.
Work with different audio formats and export settings.
Record your screen while completing assigned editing tasks.
Explain audio editing workflows and technical decisions step by step.
Review completed tasks and provide detailed feedback.
Maintain accuracy and quality across all deliverables.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Audacity.
Audio editing and production.
Sound editing and audio mixing.
Noise reduction and audio enhancement.
Understanding of audio formats and export settings.
Ability to record and share your screen.
Clear technical communication and documentation.
Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional experience in audio production, sound engineering, podcast editing or digital media.
Previous experience in data annotation, human data, RLHF or AI model evaluation.
Experience documenting technical workflows.
Familiarity with professional audio editing techniques and tools.
Work Requirements
Must have access to Audacity.
Must be comfortable recording and sharing your screen.
Must be able to explain editing workflows clearly.
Must maintain consistent quality and meet project requirements.
