About Us
Scroggins Creative is a boutique content studio that helps thoughtful brands, experts, and organizations create podcasts and content that provides clarity and builds trust.
We're currently looking for an experienced podcast audio editor to join us as a long-term creative partner.
This is a freelance, remote contractor position with project-based compensation and complete flexibility over when you work.
What We're Looking For
Most of our work consists of long-form interview podcasts, and we are looking for a stellar audio editor to join our team.
We're less interested in checking boxes and more interested in finding someone who takes pride in their work and values high-quality podcast content.
Responsibilities include:
- Editing multi-person interview podcast episodes
- Dialogue cleanup and leveling
- Integrating episode elements like intros, outros, music, and sponsor segments
- Communicating proactively if timelines or questions arise
You have:
- 3+ years experience editing podcast audio
- Proficiency with Adobe Audition and multitrack editing workflows
- Working knowledge or experience with project management tools like Asana
- A strong understanding of dialogue processing and audio quality standards
- The ability to make tasteful editing decisions without over-processing voices
- Minimal feedback and oversight to get the job done on deadline
Expected workload & compensation: The requested workload is approximately 4-6 episodes per month, with opportunities for additional work over time. Most episodes are long-form interviews ranging from roughly 45-60 minutes each.
Compensation is project-based beginning around $150 per episode, with rates varying based on project details, complexity, and experience.

- No set hours
- No exclusivity requirements (you are welcome to have other clients and projects)
