Head of Revenue Partnerships
A full time position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Realm.
Salary range: $125,000 to $150,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience plus health insurance, 401K, equity
The Head of Revenue Partnerships will be responsible for growing the Realm podcast entertainment network by overseeing show success and developing new revenue-driving opportunities in collaboration with the sales and business development teams. Reporting to the Vice President, the ideal candidate should be highly collaborative, an excellent salesperson, and a strong team leader. This role will lead both internal and external strategy and pitching at a senior level.
Major responsibilities include:
NETWORK SUCCESS
- Maximize revenue potential from the network through targeted growth strategies for existing partners
- Bridge network partners and the advertising team to power sales, ensure delivery, identify opportunities for custom integrations
- Oversee partner happiness and retention with network team
- Oversee internal operations and systems for efficient work with network and sales teams
NETWORK ACQUISITION
- Identify shows to bring into the Realm network
- Pitch potential distributed partners (independent creators, agents, studios, networks, major media companies)
- Negotiate deals and handle contracting process with support from exec team and legal
- Oversee onboarding and partner communication processes with network and sales teams
OTHER REVENUE PARTNERSHIPS
- Support Studio Team in securing Production Services deals as team expert in distribution and monetization, including actively pitching major partners
- Support Studio Team in developing new shows to ensure revenue and growth potential
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development roles, ideally in an entertainment setting
- At least 1-2+ years of experience in managing a team
- Solid understanding of the podcast landscape and podcast marketing
- Solid understanding of podcast sales systems and needs
- You have excellent time management and organizational skills, with an ability to multitask and balance deadlines
- You are a natural self-starter and are excited to proactively improve systems
- You’re comfortable challenging convention and have strong critical thinking skills that you use to develop an informed perspective
- You build trusted relationships with people in other functions and teams — you’re collaborative, patient, and are a strong communicator both internally and externally
