Podcast Video Editor (Contract Position)

Salary range: $20.00 to $65.00 (hourly rate) - subject to experience

We’re looking for a skilled podcast video editor to join our team on a freelance, contract basis. The role is focused on taking raw podcast recordings and turning them into high-impact, engaging video episodes similar in style and polish to shows like All-In, My First Million, and Moneywise.

What You’ll Do:

• Edit long-form podcast recordings into clean, professional, and dynamic video episodes
• Add visual elements (graphics, B-roll, callouts, lower thirds) to elevate the final product
• Format clips for multiple platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, IG Reels, etc.)
• Collaborate with our team to maintain consistency with brand identity and show style
• Deliver polished, ready-to-publish files on deadline
• Be involved in the process of making each episode better from a video editing and production standpoint, not just cutting footage
• Provide clear communication and honesty about your limitations within video production

What We Provide:

• All necessary motion assets and branding materials
• The ability to request any additional assets, effects, or design elements you think will improve the viewer experience

Requirements:

• Proven experience editing video podcasts or long-form conversation content
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and keeping long-form content visually engaging
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must be able to work within deadlines and deliver reliably
• Familiarity with the style, formatting and production quality of podcasts like All-In, MFM, and Moneywise
• Ability to work independently

• Individuals who want to build a longer-term working relationship and make that a priority
• Editors who take initiative and contribute to improving the overall viewer experience
• Timezones within the Americas preferred, open to European time zones as well
