Salary range: $2,500 to $3,500 (monthly rate) - subject to experience
One Decision is a weekly geopolitics interview show on YouTube anchored by Sir Richard Dearlove, former chief of MI6, with co-host John Raine, former UK diplomat and IISS fellow. Guests include senior intelligence officials, foreign correspondents, heads of government, and authors. The channel has grown to more than 420,000 subscribers over the past year.
We are looking for a part-time Digital Operations Coordinator to own the mechanics of publishing so the editorial team can focus on the show. This is a process job centered on formatting and uploading files, images, and text to our website (WordPress), YouTube channel, audio podcast feed, newsletter platform (Beehiiv), and social accounts. Roughly 10 to 15 hours per week, remote from anywhere, but you must be able to work consistently against NYC business hours. Start date September 2026.
What you will do:
Generate final transcripts and check them against the episode audio for accuracy Generate draft episode summaries and clean them up for editorial review Post articles to WordPress with full metadata, formatting, and links, source images, and build episode pages Upload YouTube shorts with titles, descriptions, and tags; post thumbnails and episode descriptions, tags, and chapter markers Compile and format the weekly newsletter in Beehiiv for editorial review Post new episodes to X and distribute shorts to Reels and TikTok
What we need:
Hands-on WordPress experience, comfortable in the editor, with media, and with post metadata Experience publishing to YouTube, including descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and shorts Strong attention to detail and the discipline to manage time-sensitive processes Clear written communication Comfort using AI tools for transcript and summary work
Helpful but not required: Beehiiv or another newsletter platform, video editing for shorts, interest in geopolitics and current affairs.
