Position: Podcast Assistant Intern About Us: Nostalgia Podcast invites guests onto the show to bring five of their most nostalgic tracks. We dive into the stories and memories behind each song and everything in-between. This is show is the perfect place to discover new music, remember the old ones and hear stories about our guests. We are looking for a talented and motivated intern to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our podcast.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy to enhance our podcast's online presence.
- Create engaging and shareable content across various platforms.
- Monitor and respond to audience feedback, comments, and messages. Guest Sourcing:
- Research and identify potential guests who align with the podcast's theme and target audience.
- Reach out to artists, musicians, industry professionals, and other relevant figures to secure interviews.
- Coordinate schedules and logistics for guest appearances
Podcast Creative Input:
- Collaborate with the podcast team to generate creative ideas for show content and format.
- Provide input on episode topics, themes, and interview questions.
- Assist in post-production tasks, including editing and refining podcast episodes.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic about music and podcasts, with a good understanding of various music genres.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
- Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in basic audio editing tools (experience with platforms like Audacity is a plus).
