Contract Sales Partner (Commission-Only, Remote)

Niched is the sales engine behind leading media companies and operators (podcasts, newsletters, YouTube) looking to scale revenue through sponsorships.
We are backed by data driven intent signals and looking to help further scale revenue for our partners.
We’re bringing on experienced Sponsorship Sales Partners to help scale our advertising and brand partnership revenue.
This opportunity is structured to support both:
- sellers who want to make this a primary revenue focus
- experienced AEs, consultants, or media sellers who want the flexibility to bring in deals alongside an existing role This is a fully remote, commission-only contract position.
The role You will own the full sales cycle across podcast and digital sponsorship opportunities — from prospecting through close — using Niched’s data, systems, and active media partnerships. You may work this as a focused, full-time revenue role, or as a flexible partnership where you bring opportunities and close deals using your existing relationships and network. This is not a lead-gen or appointment-setting role. This is a true revenue seat.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue potential advertisers and sponsorship partners
- Build and manage a live sales pipeline
- Execute consistent outreach across email, LinkedIn, and warm introductions
- Pitch podcast, newsletter and YouTube sponsorship opportunities
- Clearly communicate audience value, positioning, and performance
- Close new sponsorship and advertising agreements
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered smoothly
- Provide regular updates on outreach, pipeline, and closed revenue
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in podcast advertising, sponsorship sales, or media sales
- Comfort owning a full sales cycle in a remote, autonomous environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pitch both ad placements and larger integrated partnerships
- Understanding of ad formats (podcast, newsletter and YouTube
- Organized pipeline management habits
- Independent, reliable, and outcome-driven
- Existing brand or agency relationships are a strong plus
- Comfortable working in a performance-based, commission-only structure
Compensation This is a commission-only independent contractor role. You earn a generous percentage of all sponsorship and advertising revenue you close.

- Commission structure negotiable based on experience and scope
- Monthly performance SPIFFs and cash bonuses available based on results
