Podcast Production Manager
A project or contract Production Coordinator position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at NextWave Radio.
Salary range: $45.00 to $75.00 (hourly rate) - subject to experience
We are building a new podcast network from the ground up. We are looking for our very first hire to lead the production process. This is a fully remote role and a great fit for someone ready to manage everything from audio to video production.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for managing the entire production process. This includes coming up with ideas, booking guests, recording, editing, and publishing episodes. You will work closely with hosts, editors, video producers, and marketing to make sure everything runs smoothly and sounds great.
You will create and manage schedules and budgets to meet deadlines. You will make sure every episode meets high-quality standards. As the team grows, you will help train new members.
When problems come up, you will find solutions quickly to keep production moving. You will also ensure all permissions and licenses are handled properly.
Who You Are
You have at least five years of experience managing podcast or multimedia productions, including audio and video. You are comfortable handling multiple projects and deadlines. You know how to produce high-quality content.
You communicate clearly and can lead different teams. You work well independently, especially in a remote environment. You pay attention to details and love storytelling.
Most importantly, you are excited about building something new and making it successful.
