Account Executive
Mission Media is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue growth and build strategic relationships with brands and agencies across podcasting, streaming audio, CTV, and digital media. Backed by premium creator inventory, AI-driven audience intelligence, and proprietary technology, Mission Media helps advertisers reach highly engaged audiences at scale while delivering measurable results for creators, publishers, and media partners.
You are
A born hunter who understands the big picture. You are driven by high achievement revenue growth. You thrive in a fast-paced, high intensity/high impact, and rapidly evolving environment. You have extensive experience in sales, programmatic advertising and/or digital audio (podcasts, streaming radio, etc.). You are intimately informed about trends in the digital advertising space and are fully aware of the programmatic landscape. You are a team player with a can-do mentality who is passionate about all things digital audio!
You will
- Proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline of sales targets, contacts, and demand opportunities via cold calling and leveraging your agency connections, brands and trading desks.
- Evangelize the market and promote the benefits of digital audio as part of the media mix
- Respond to RFPs, including researching, developing, and pitching media plans and PMP ideas
- Provide campaign management, optimization, reporting, recaps, and lead upsell opportunities
- Report on revenue projections/forecasts
- Define sales strategies and marketing plans
- Organize and participate in industry sales events
- Travel as necessary to support business objectives (prospect/client meetings, conferences, internal meetings)
You have
- A commitment to excellence and a proven record of sales achievements against quantitative targets
- 3+ years of sales experience with experience selling programmatic related solutions in the agency arena with the contact list to prove it
- A strong understanding of the programmatic digital advertising ecosystem and technologies (e.g., SSP’s, AdExchanges, DSP’s, DMP’s etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree
- An awesome sense of humor and entrepreneurial spirit
