Madrid or Spain-based, working with a production company remotely: working with UK-based team, Message Heard. Option for fully remote position.
Message Heard Media has been engaged to launch a weekly Spanish-language magazine show on YouTube, hosted by the most recognised voices in Padel.
We’re looking for a Spanish-speaking Producer based in Madrid/Spain to own this show day-to-day. You’ll have two brilliant hosts, a YouTube channel with 836K subscribers ready to go, access to the biggest names in the sport, and the backing of a tour that wants this to work. Your job is to make it a show people come back to every week.
The role will consist of editorial planning, running orders, host prep, recording sessions, edit and post, packaging, publishing, and the short-form output. You will work with an editor and check-in weekly with Message Heard's Series Producer.
A typical week looks something like:
- Early week: editorial planning, running order, guest and segment coordination.
- Mid-week: recording with hosts (remote, via Riverside or equivalent).
- Late week: edit, package, publish to YouTube, distribute to podcast feeds, release clips.
What we are looking for
Someone who’s run a show before. Ideally weekly, ideally digital-first. You will know how to shape a running order, prep a host, make editorial calls, and get something out the door on time every week. The Producer will need to understand YouTube: thumbnails, metadata, retention, shorts, what makes people click.
Specifically:
- Native or fluent Spanish speaker, based in or around Madrid.
- Experience producing video content for YouTube or digital platforms.
- Comfortable with remote and distributed workflows — hosts will be on the move.
- Editorially confident: can shape content, not just execute a brief.
- Can edit or work closely with an editor.
- Resourceful — good at sourcing footage, building relationships with players and social teams, making things work with what’s available.
- Ideally lives in the sport or lifestyle world and gets the culture of padel.
- Self-sufficient — this person doesn’t wait for instructions, they drive the show.

- We are looking for someone who is available to start asap.
- This is an approx. 2 month contract with huge potential for extension.
