Job Summary: The Director of Partnerships is responsible for building, nurturing, and expanding relationships with publishers, advertisers, and key external stakeholders. This role will focus on identifying new partnership opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless execution of agreements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive relationship builder with strong contract negotiation skills, capable of driving growth through effective collaboration, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with publishers and key clients to support long-term collaboration.
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand the publisher roster.
- Manage inbound requests from agencies and publishers, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
- Lead contract negotiations, redline agreements, and ensure timely execution of contracts while maintaining company standards and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with legal, sales, and ad operations teams to finalize deal terms and manage contractual obligations.
- Monitor partnership performance and leverage insights to optimize outcomes.
- Represent Libsyn Ads in external meetings, conferences, and industry events to enhance visibility and foster new connections.
- Develop processes to monitor and enhance the performance of retained shows, focusing on retention and engagement.
Required Qualifications and Abilities:
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and partnerships.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-starter mentality.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Experience in podcasting, digital media, or advertising.
