Celebrity Booker
A project or contract Booking Coordinator position
Fully remote: working with a Australia-based team at Klassic Studios.
Are you tapped into the celebrity and entertainment world? Are you interested in the being part of the fast-growing podcasting industry? Can you help us build a podcast brand into the stratosphere?
We are looking to hire a Celebrity Booker to book celebrities to appear on our successful podcast – Daily Dad Jokes. We are currently getting 800k+ podcast streams per month and want to take it to the next level by inviting celebrities to share their best Dad Jokes to our audience.
What we need you to be:
- An eye on Hollywood and celebrity culture to spot opportunities (for example, new upcoming film/book/events/tours)
- Outgoing and confident – Able to pick up the phone and call celebrity publicists.
- Good email communication and follow through
- Be persistent in following leads without being overbearing (tough line to walk – I know!)
- Able to perform background research on our target list to craft a unique "pitch" to the celebrity.
- Well organized with a systematic approach to delivering tasks so things don’t fall through the cracks!
- Someone who loves a good Dad Joke ????
This will be a real collaborative arrangement and it's about getting your creative ideas to achieve this outcome.
Tools to help you:
- A subscription to a celebrity database with publicist/manager details
- A list of initial targets (~50).

- Fully remote position
- Initial 3-month contract
- Up to 30 USD / hour
- Up to 10 hours per week
- Flexible hours / times
- Bonus scheme on successful guest bookings
