Podcast End-to-End Producer (Remote) Overview We are seeking a skilled Podcast Producer to support end-to-end podcast production across leading audio and video platforms. This role combines research, creation of pre-production materials, live remote engineering, post-production editing, distribution, and content repurposing for social and short-form platforms. The ideal candidate is technically strong, creatively driven, and deeply familiar with podcasting and YouTube best practices. This is a remote position working with distributed teams and talent.
Key Responsibilities Pre-production
- Researching guests and topics
- Assisting with guest pitches
- Creation of show rundowns

Live Production & Engineering
- Engineer live and remote podcast recordings using platforms such as Riverside and Zoom
- Monitor audio/video quality, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure broadcast-ready recordings
Post-Production Editing
- Edit full-length podcast episodes for audio and video distribution
- Perform audio cleanup, leveling, syncing, color correction, and visual enhancements
- Deliver platform-optimized exports for YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other major platforms
Content Creation & Repurposing
- Create podcast chapters and timestamps
- Cut short-form clips and highlights from full episodes
- Produce vertical shorts optimized for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms
Visual & Graphic Assets
- Design engaging thumbnails for YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and other podcast platforms
- Create motion graphics and basic animations as needed
Distribution
- YouTube channel management/optimization
- Podcast platform distribution
Workflow & Asset Management
- Maintain efficient file management, naming conventions, and transfer processes
- Collaborate with fellow producers and hosts to meet deadlines and content standards
Required Proficiencies Tools & Software
- Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition)
- Riverside and Zoom recording platforms
- AI content creation tools such as SubMagic and Opus

Key Skills & Qualifications
- Remote podcast engineering experience
- Strong video and audio post-production skills
- Graphic creation and thumbnail design
- Motion graphics fundamentals
- Deep understanding of podcasting and YouTube best practices
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities
- A/V hardware and signal flow knowledge
- Excellent file organization and asset management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Experience working with high-volume or fast-paced podcast production
- Familiarity with analytics-driven content optimization
- Understanding of social media trends and short-form storytelling
