About This Role Gotham is seeking an Audio/Video Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate has high audio and video standards. They are comfortable working with high-profile clients and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Engineers contribute to our team by leading recording sessions with our Hourly clients, overseen by our Studio Coordinator & Managers.

What You’ll Do Assist the Studio Coordinator with the daily recording, scheduling, and emails with Gotham’s Hourly clients and work on assigned advanced editing submissions. Recording clients from our midtown studios and setting up each studio session with the equipment needed. Running recording sessions, connecting with virtual guests, editing, and sending audio/video files. Keep studios in order, cleaning and organizing each studio after each session. Provide creative input on projects for new and existing clients. Follow GPS workflow guidelines and production process.

What You’ll Have 2+ years of experience working as an Engineer for podcasts Interest in working on podcasts with a wide range of topics Proficiency in staging audio, video, and lighting for podcast/video programs Knowledge of audio and video recording equipment and recording experience Ability to stay organized and on top of assigned tasks in a fast-moving and deadline-driven startup environment Experience and professionalism working one-on-one with clients in a business setting Experience with audio repair and sound design is a plus!
