From Draft to Dollars is looking for a Volunteer Audio Editor to join our growing team.We’re a podcast that unpacks how creatives—writers, designers, digital hustlers—turn raw ideas (the draft) into income (the dollars). Real convos. No fluff. All game.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A PAID ROLE What You’ll Do Edit podcast episodes (30–60 mins) for clarity, flow, and quality Clean up audio (remove filler words, background noise, etc.) Add intro/outro music, transitions, and occasional SFX Collaborate with host & content team on pacing, tone, and sound identityDeliver final MP3s + short clips for social mediaWhat You’ll GetReal industry experience with published work Creative freedom + room to experiment with style Shoutouts and credits on episodes and social postsMentorship and behind-the-scenes access to podcast strategy & growthLinkedIn recommendation + proof of work for your portfolioWho You Are🎧 You’re familiar with tools like Audacity, Adobe Audition, Descript, or similar You care about sound quality and pacingYou're hungry to learn and grow with a media brandYou’re reliable, responsive, and creative AFStudents, aspiring editors, or career pivoters are welcomeThis is a volunteer role for now — but it’s perfect for anyone building their portfolio, wanting to break into the audio world, or looking to contribute to a growing podcast with a real voice.Ready to help us turn ideas into income (and make them sound damn good doing it)?
