A project or contract position
Fully remote: working with a UK-based team at FlightGlobal.
We’re seeking a UK-based podcast audio editor to help create engaging, professional episodes across three podcasts focused on the business of aviation and the broader aerospace industry. This is a freelance role and will usually involve editing 2-4 episodes per week.
What you’ll do:
- Edit raw audio between hosts and guests
- Add in intros, outros and music
- Manage commercial requirements
- Attend episode recordings to check sound levels and quality
- Ensure episodes meet publishing standards
What we’re looking for:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with people who are not experienced at podcasting
- Experience in podcast editing (if you also have experience with podcast video editing, please include this)
- Organised, professional and able to meet daily/weekly deadlines
- Available to attend episode recordings when required (although this role is UK-based, some recordings will be outside standard business hours to accommodate international guests).
To apply
Please send a short intro about your experience (100 words), your rate and your CV to podcast@flightglobal.com by 4 August 2025. No experience in aviation is required. Applicants from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. Due to the volume of interest, unsuccessful applications will not be contacted.
