Podcast Video/Audio Editor
A part time position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Digital Freedom Productions.
We're looking for a video/audio podcast editor to join the close-knit, communicative, dynamic team here at Digital Freedom Productions.
DFP is the go-to podcast production company and strategic growth partners for life and business coaches who want to grow their businesses through impactful podcasting and video content. We’re passionate about amplifying coaches' voices by delivering their message with care and excellence. We know podcasting is a powerful tool for building meaningful connections with audiences, but it’s also complex and time-intensive. That’s why we handle every production detail, allowing our clients to focus on their ideas and impact.
We’re looking for a Video/Audio Podcast Editor who’s as passionate about storytelling as they are about the editing craft. You don’t just enjoy podcasts and YouTube content—you study them. You understand what makes a podcast or video engaging, and you’re excited to collaborate on meaningful projects that amplify our clients' messages.
You'll work closely with our production team and lend your expertise to creating engaging content while delivering a seamless experience for our clients.
If this sounds like you, keep reading.
Apply If:
- Audio AND video podcast editing is your craft. You’re always experimenting and improving, and you take pride in delivering high-quality content.
- You’re obsessed with podcasts and YouTube, especially within the self-help and coaching spaces.
- You understand the nuances of creating content that connects with audiences, from what makes episodes highly shareable, to thumbnails that grab attention to episode flow that keeps listeners engaged.
- You are able to provide clear, concise feedback on how a client can improve their next recordings in order to create more effective content for YouTube.
- You’re confident using Adobe Audition for audio editing and Descript for video editing, including adding captions, B-roll, and on-screen graphics.
- You’re opinionated about why some content resonates and why some doesn’t—and you don’t shy away from sharing ideas for improvement.
- You’re a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives on feedback and collaboration.
- You’re passionate about helping hosts grow their businesses and make an impact.
Don’t Apply If:
- You’re looking to build your own content agency or prefer to work solely on personal projects.
- You think podcasting and YouTube are just hobbies, not serious business tools.
- You’re resistant to adopting AI tools or new technologies that can enhance your workflow and creativity.
- You’re not comfortable managing large video and audio files or adhering to tight deadlines.
- You aren’t available for team meetings between 9-11am EST a couple times per week.
