Executive Producer (Audio and Video)

The role of Executive Producer manages multiple podcast and video productions and develops new audio/video projects. This is a senior role which requires a track record leading multiple podcast/video productions at once, and a strong background in journalism and/or factual storytelling. Experience in directing/producing screen and short-form video content is highly desired.

- Has a passion for narrative story-telling and exceptional creative flair in developing formats and highly creative podcast and video series
- Loves to manage multiple production schedules at once with attention to detail and always delivers exceptional content on time by working to the production budget
- Loves to help producers turn out copy that links complex ideas into cohesive narrative, and can punch out plot-driven, story-first scrips that grip an audience
- Has finely honed editorial skills and exceptional taste in creating and directing compelling audience-focussed episodes
- Comes with at a decade of experience working on video/audio/podcasts projects for both media houses and in commercial environments, and works effectively with clients
- Loves working collaboratively in small teams and managing projects to deadlines in a time-pressured environment.

Location: Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne only (Aust). Deadset Studios currently operates a remote workforce but you'll be needed at recordings some days so must be in these capital cities.
Employment type: 12-month contract with a view to extend (this role can be 4 days or 5 days per week).
Salary: A salary range inclusive of superannuation will be discussed with those short-listed for interview based on their demonstrated experience in video and audio productions.
