ABOUT THE JOB

Crowd Network is an independent podcast network that specialises in unforgettable stories and personalities. We exist to bring people together and create conversations you have to share.

We make ground-breaking audio and video that makes people feel part of something bigger than themselves. We’re welcoming, inclusive and collaborative.

We are proud to be based in Manchester, but we work across the world. We cover history, politics, fiction, lifestyle, culture and sport.

We’re looking for an experienced video editor with a passion for storytelling to add to our production team. You will play a crucial role in creating long-form YouTube edits and engaging social videos across a number of both our original and branded podcasts including Things People Do, We Are Chelsea and Oceans.

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants that are underrepresented in the podcast and media industry, such as those from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds or those with disabilities.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a skilled video editor who wants to work on some of the UK’s biggest podcasts.

You will have at least two years experience editing both long form and short form video.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PACKAGE

Video editors report to the Content Director and will work alongside audio producers on a range of Crowd podcasts. You will not have any direct reports but you will work with talent on a regular basis.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK, however, travel to the Crowd offices in Manchester will be required from time-to-time as will on-location shooting.

We are a Manchester-based company so we are particularly keen to hear from people in the North West, or those willing to relocate.

The starting salary for the role is £27,000 but is dependent on experience. You will also get
