Podcast Agent / Opportunity Scout

Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Consulting.fm.
Salary range: $30,000 to $115,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Podcast Agent / Opportunity Scout to join our team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in expanding the media presence of our agency owner, who has spoken at prominent events like Podcast Evolutions and Podfest and worked with over 100 brands to launch and grow their podcast and audio presence.

Responsibilities:
Book podcast and livestream appearances specifically on podcast-related channels. Coordinate guest spots on relevant newsletters, YouTube channels, and social media collaborations. Secure speaking engagements and panel discussion opportunities at industry events. Brand Partnerships:
Identify and facilitate paid brand deals with podcast and audio companies. Manage and negotiate contracts for paid consulting calls. Networking and Relationship Building:
Leverage deep knowledge of the podcast industry to generate connections and opportunities. Maintain and grow a robust network of industry contacts. Administrative Support:
Coordinate schedules and manage booking logistics for appearances and consultations. Provide regular updates and reports to the podcast agency owner.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in the podcast industry with a strong network of contacts. Demonstrated success in booking media appearances and securing brand partnerships. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of the podcasting space and key industry players. Ability to generate and act on new opportunities efficiently. High level of professionalism and reliability.
Compensation:
Competitive contract-based compensation, commensurate with experience and performance.
