Associate Creative Producer

Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at CitizenRacecar.
Salary: $25.00 (hourly rate)
CitizenRacecar is an industry-leading company that produces emotionally engaging audio media for forward-looking companies, non-profit organizations, and government agencies all around the country, as well as operating our unique education program, Afterschool Podcasting, which dispatches professional audio storytellers to out-of-school-time classrooms and summer camps to teach children how to create their own podcast series.
We are seeking a part-time Associate Creative Producer, to assist our production team with producing excellent new episodes of the ongoing podcast series we create and manage for our clients. This an entry-level, part-time, fully remote position, with a starting wage of $25/hour, estimated 10-20 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about audio storytelling and enthusiastic about our work. This is a great role for a recent graduate from an audio production, journalism, radio, media studies, or similar program who is looking to begin a career in podcast production and/or content marketing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Organizing and uploading raw tape for edit
Generating clean transcripts of episodes, ready for publication
Identifying and pulling promo clips from broadcast-ready episodes
Assisting series Producers with research, booking, and other pre-production tasks
Learning our in-house techniques and style for story-editing
Helping monitor throughput, to make sure we’re hitting deadlines and exceeding client expectations
