Salary range: $750 to $850 (monthly rate) - subject to experience

PODCAST PRODUCER, THE OFFSTAGE MIC If you care about the business side of the arts — maybe you played an instrument growing up, or were a high school theater kid, or were trained in ballet or opera or painting and now have an interest in what makes the industry run offstage — you’ll like the podcast content.

The Offstage Mic podcast began as a small pilot project in 2022 and has since grown to thousands of downloads every month, with listeners in 74 different countries. And just like anything here at Changing the Narrative, the process has been to iterate with each season, making it better and more professionalized each round, while introducing new elements (Better sound quality! More sponsors! Lead magnets!).

Now, after three seasons, the workload to keep everything running smoothly is ready for a true pro to take it to the next level. We’re seeking a part-time contract Podcast Producer to run point on all aspects of The Offstage Mic podcast, from content strategy to release (full scope of work below). Key metrics this role is responsible for are growth in downloads and lead generation.

You’ll get to work with a fantastic editing team and social media brand manager, among other roles, as part of a fully virtual team of collaborative, smart, and strategic go-getters all working to change the narrative for arts and culture.
