Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Center for Humane Technology .

Center for Humane Technology is looking for a self-motivated Producer/Researcher to join a small team producing the podcast Your Undivided Attention. You are a good fit for this role if you love diving deep into research and translating complex ideas for broad audiences. You are a journalist, not an academic. You have likely worked on long-form content tackling big issues - in politics, law, tech, or humanities - and you have a working knowledge of recent developments in AI. You are a team player who is adaptable and agile when deadlines shift. You can quickly and constructively incorporate editorial feedback into your work.

The key responsibility of the role is to do deep research (using books, academic papers, news searches, and pre-interviews) to create detailed interview briefs. Your briefs will include a clear interview structure, suggested questions, and draft introductions. You will attend prep meetings to brief hosts, and you will sit in on interview recordings, offering clear, actionable direction to hosts where necessary. You will contribute to the editing processes. Tasks may include but are not limited to:
