Associate Podcast Producer
A full time Associate Producer position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Caspian Studios.
Salary range: $45,000 to $50,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience plus health insurance
We are looking for an Associate Podcast Producer to support our production team in producing episodes and creating stories for our world-class slate of business and technology podcasts. Topics include (but are not limited to) data, marketing, IT, cybersecurity, HR, customer experience, finance, and more. Our podcast producers sit at the intersection of business, marketing, and content creation. Associate producers support and learn from an experienced team of producers and creatives working with some of the biggest and most exciting technology companies in the world. In order to serve the needs of our clients, production team members need to understand the business and marketing objectives of our clients and produce category-leading podcast content that serves client goals and audience interests. We primarily create interview and blended narrative style content. A great associate producer in this role will work closely with producers and customer success managers to successfully serve the needs of the clients, guests, and audience. This is a fully remote position with a remote team (primarily US-based). Competitive pay, generous benefits, unlimited PTO, and a high degree of autonomy and flexibility. The Associate Producer role is an entry level position that provides a potential path to the role of Producer.
Your responsibilities include: Supporting producers in end-to-end production of podcast episodes Listening to recorded interviews, editing audio, and selecting clips Writing show notes, copy, and scripts for VO recording Research on a variety of business and technology-related topics and guests Outlining interview questions on a range of different topics Working with internal stakeholders to help achieve client objectives Managing deliverables from cross-functional team members (audio & video engineers, APs, etc) Supporting producers and hosts in facilitation of live podcast interviews Helping to identify/create marketing and social media content for show promotion Support audio, video, and show launch teams as needed Addtional projects as needed
About you: You love podcasts, business, marketing, and technology! You have an ear for great audio and compelling podcast content. You are creative, business-minded, and organized. You have extremely high attention to detail and strong communication skills. You can work autonomously to deliver high-quality written and audio projects on time and error-free with minimal supervision. You love learning about business, marketing, and content and are excited by the prospect of growing into a Producer role. The ideal candidate will have some experience with B2B marketing and/or branded content creation. Experience with narrative-driven storytelling is a plus.
