Podcast and Social Media Producer
A full time Content Manager position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Cardiff.
Salary range: $60,000 to $65,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience plus health insurance and other benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a mission-driven, high-energy Multimedia Producer to lead the digital presence of a growing conservative commentator and business leader. This is not a "behind the scenes" tech role; you are the architect of our content strategy. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production of a top-tier interview podcast and the rapid-fire creation of social media "reaction" videos that challenge the status quo and drive the national conversation.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast Production: Manage the full lifecycle of a weekly long-form interview show. This includes researching industry-leading guests, drafting interview scripts/briefs, managing technical recording (in-studio or via Riverside), and reviewing final audio/video edits.
Rapid-Response Content: Monitor the daily news cycle and political landscape. You will identify trending videos and clips to produce high-impact "reaction" videos, adding the Principal's commentary and insights for distribution on Instagram and YouTube.
Social Media Growth: Transform 60-minute interviews into 10–15 "viral-ready" short-form clips. You must have an eye for "the hook"—selecting the exact 30 seconds that will spark engagement.
Channel Management: Oversee daily posting schedules, write compelling SEO-driven captions, and design (or direct) high-click-rate thumbnails.
Brand Alignment: Ensure all content reflects a professional, conservative, and business-oriented worldview. You must be comfortable navigating political discourse and ensuring the Principal's message is clear and uncensored.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop) or equivalent (Final Cut/DaVinci Resolve).
Political Savvy: A deep understanding of the current conservative political landscape, business trends, and the "players" within the industry. You should know who the key influencers and newsmakers are.
The "Social" Eye: Proven experience growing accounts on Instagram and YouTube. You understand how algorithms work and how to optimize content for each specific platform.
Efficiency: Ability to turn around a "reaction" video within 2 hours of a news event.
Communication: Exceptional writing skills for show notes, scripts, and social copy.
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in digital media production or political communications.
A portfolio demonstrating both long-form storytelling and high-energy social media editing.
Ability to work flexible hours based on the news cycle.
