Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Busylike.

Salary range: $30.00 to $50.00 (hourly rate) - subject to experience

We look for a Freelance Podcast Video Editor / Videographer to help us produce a professionally edited, engaging video podcast for a journalism-focused small business.

This is a fully remote freelance job.

We have completed recording the first episode of a remotely recorded podcast using Riverside. We're looking for a talented editor who can transform the raw recording into a polished, engaging episode that is ready for publication.

For each episode, you will: -Edit and clean the Riverside recording (remove mistakes, pauses, improve pacing, audio cleanup, etc.) -Create a dynamic opening section using compelling moments from the episode -Add captions where appropriate -Deliver a polished long-form podcast ready for YouTube and other platforms -Create 3 short-form clips per episode optimized for social media, including captions and visual elements -For short videos - Incorporate graphics, motion elements, B-roll, or other visuals to make the episode more engaging

We're looking for someone with a good editorial sense who knows how to keep viewers engaged—not just someone who can cut clips together.

We're happy to discuss the exact workflow and budget after reviewing your portfolio.

To apply

Please send us: -A short introduction about yourself -Links to podcast motion design/video editing work you've completed (required) -Any relevant experience with YouTube podcasts or long-form content
