Podcast Producer

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Podcast Producer at Believe Limited, you will support, supervise, and manage the production of multiple audio and video-enhanced podcast properties across our mission-driven media organization. This role combines hands-on production, basic audio engineering, project management, and the ability to oversee both remote and live recordings.
Primary duties include managing episode workflows, coordinating with hosts and guests, operating and supervising Riverside recordings, editing in Descript, maintaining podcast backend systems, and supporting the delivery of sponsor-ready assets. Additional responsibilities include assembling performance decks, pulling analytics, and ensuring high-quality, consistent execution across all podcast properties.
Your production expertise and attention to detail will help ensure our storytelling remains polished, impactful, and aligned with Believe Limited’s standards and mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day production for multiple podcasts simultaneously.
- Prepare episode outlines, scripts, and production materials for hosts and guests.
- Supervise and support live and remote recordings, including tech checks, mic setup, and basic audio troubleshooting.
- Operate Riverside for remote sessions and ensure high-quality recordings.
- Perform basic audio engineering including leveling, cleanup, EQ, and export of deliverables.
- Edit episodes in Descript from rough cut through final assembly.
- Manage backend operations such as RSS metadata, uploads, scheduling, and platform QC.
- Maintain organized production calendars, project files, and workflow documentation.
- Coordinate with editors, designers, and social teams to ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Pull episode analytics and assemble metrics decks for internal reporting and sponsors.
- Assist with special recordings, on-location events, and live podcasting environments as needed.
- Ensure all deliverables meet technical, creative, and sponsor requirements.
- WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 2+ years of podcast production or audio storytelling experience.
- Proficiency with Descript, Riverside, and basic audio engineering.
- Ability to supervise and troubleshoot live and remote recordings.
- Working knowledge of podcast hosting platforms and RSS metadata.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Experience interpreting podcast analytics and assembling reporting decks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi‑show environment.

Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends, and accommodate last-minute changes in a 24x7 production work environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to stand for extended periods during live or remote recording supervision. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds when needed for equipment setup.
COMPENSATION Range: $80,000-90,000 annually Paid Time Off:
- 5 sick days per year
- Unlimited personal days, as needed
- US National holidays
- 4 weeks per year when the office is closed
