Video and Digital Content Lead

Salary range: £44,500 to £55,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit for a Video & Digital Content Lead in BBC Studios Audio. This new role will report directly to the Commercial & Business Development Director and will support our podcast production teams in developing and producing social-first video content that extends the reach of our podcasts via fully visualised episodes and short form clips and digital assets.
The role will act as the editorial lead for one or more social media accounts within BBC Studios Audio, delivering a coherent, consistent social media experience for audiences, ensuring each account delivers on the agreed social strategy, maximises engaged reach with the account's target audiences, delivers content of the highest creative quality, delivers commercial objectives for sponsors and advertisers and drives traffic around the BBC Studios Audio commercial portfolio.
This is key commercial role in the central Audio team, working with production teams who deliver a breadth of outstanding content, from impactful investigative serials such as To Catch A Scorpion and Things Fell Apart; long running prestige Radio 4 series such as Desert Island Discs and In Our Time; and an extensive slate of award-winning Comedy and Drama output. The Audio Unit has a mission to create and deliver compelling, premium audio to a wide-ranging global audience.
