Salary range: $32.00 to $40.00 (hourly rate) - subject to experience

About the Role: We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Podcast Production Coordinator to support the weekly production of Slaycation, a darkly comic, true-crime podcast that delves into the chilling world of murders that take place on vacation. This part-time role is ideal for someone passionate about true-crime storytelling, has a sharp ear for content, and thrives behind the scenes in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities: Research & Propose Cases Conduct light research to identify compelling true crime stories; summarize and propose cases for the hosts to review.

Prep for Recording Create background materials and case summaries to help the hosts prepare; flag key talking points and relevant context.

Compile Audience Feedback for On-Air Use Monitor listener reviews, comments, and questions from platforms like Spotify and Facebook to highlight in episodes.

Support Bonus Content Production Assist with scheduling, content ideas, uploading, and general coordination of bonus segments.

Manage Missing Files Coordinate with the studio team to track and recover any missing or incomplete audio files.

Send Files to Editor Deliver recorded files to the audio editor promptly after recording sessions and confirm receipt.

Schedule Episodes to Publish Upload final audio, show notes, ad breaks, and episode metadata (which will be completed by the Slaycation Team) into Megaphone for weekly publishing.
