Local Florida Podcast Producer
A full time Producer position at Agua Media, Southwest Ranches FL, USA
Salary range: $60,000 to $75,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience plus Health Insurance
Agua Media is a US based podcast and entertainment network targeting a colorful new mainstream audience thirsty for original stories that reflect their collective life experience, stories and cultural influence.
Producer must reside in South Florida, around Miami / Ft. Lauderdale. While much of the work will be done remotely, physical presence will be required while collaborating with Talent.
This position will report directly to the Executive Producer of Agua Media.
The Ideal Candidate Is/Has:
- A passion and expertise for creative, cinematic, non-fiction writing
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience producing podcasts, end-to-end: Pre, Pro, Post
- Deadline conscious with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
- Able to see projects/stories through to completion
- A positive attitude and a quick learner
- Tech savvy and proficient in project management software, G Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Mac OS, Word
- Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
What you will take on:
- Oversee production of multiple podcasts simultaneously
- Research and write scripted podcasts and podcast series in a variety of formats
- Work with, coach, guide talent
- Conceptualize and pitch show ideas, episode topics, storylines in collaboration with content team
- Work with editor on sound design, suggesting elements; natural sound, music bumps, transitions and existing bites to carry storyline
