Senior Data Engineer
A full time position
Fully remote: working with a Sweden-based team at Acast.

About the role
We are looking for Senior Data Engineers to join our purpose driven product teams that will create data driven products. We are currently hiring for two of our teams, one which works with enabling our content creators to gain more insights and the other one focused on our ad-technology.
In this role you will work with other engineers, product owners within a cross functional agile team.
Our engineering team is mostly located in central Stockholm, but with a remote first culture we’re able to bring on people who prefer full time remote work. For this position we are hiring in Stockholm or people working remotely in Sweden, Norway, France, Germany or UK.
Who you are
- You have experience with at least some of the AWS big data offerings: EMR, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, RDS, ECS, Fargate, etc.
- You are proficient in Python and want to learn and work with Node.js and TypeScript which we use for surrounding systems and infrastructure as code.
- You have experience from operating and maintaining both datasets and infrastructure.
- You advocate agile software development practices and balance trade-offs in time, scope and quality.
- You are curious and a fast learner who can adapt quickly and enjoy a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
