Through its infrastructure, Acast allows advertisers to efficiently target an engaged audience of listeners through dynamic ad insertion, while podcasters are given access to a range of monetization opportunities and the necessary tools to expand their listener base.

About the role We are looking for a driven and passionate Senior Content Development Manager to join our Content team for Australia, to help grow our portfolio of local voices. We are seeking experienced candidates for this role, with transferable skills from other parts of the media industry.

You will be responsible for expanding Acast’s Australian creator network, by identifying, approaching, pitching to and signing new content partners- be that a well-known comedian, an influencer, a talent agency or a great new podcast that you think fits the profile we’re looking for.

You will lead on commercial negotiations with your content partners, and diligently drive contracts through to signature.

As well as a strong knowledge of podcasting, you’ll be a fantastic pitcher and public speaker, and demonstrate a passion for podcasting as well as a sensitivity for what makes content commercial along with an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast landscape.

This opportunity will be suited to someone who is ambitious, commercially-minded, personable and well-connected within the Australian creator community.

We are looking for a real self-starter who is great at pitching and networking.

The ideal skills for this role include: Previous experience in content acquisition, licensing, partnership management or talent management is ideal
