Freelance story producer for a non-fiction podcast

'Think: Sustainability' is a podcast about practical solutions for a better planet. We seek to tell engaging stories about some of the most important environmental and social issues of our time, in a lighthearted format, using empathy and the voices of experts.
We’re looking for producers to make and present one or more stories on topics under the umbrella theme of ‘sustainability’. Remuneration is $1550 per 20-30 minute episode.
The role
You can choose your own hours. Deadlines range from July to August.
Our office is in Sydney in the 2SER studios on Broadway, near Central Station. Studio and office space is available if you want it.
Pitch one or more story ideas to the Executive Producer
Interview an expert, usually an academic, and anybody else relevant to the story
Cut your tape using Descript, and link it together with talking points
Present your story, in a discussion format, to the host in studio across one or two recording sessions
Edit the interviews and studio tape in Descript, plus any relevant sound and/or music
Incorporate constructive feedback into your final draft
Hand your work over to the Sound Designer and Mix Engineer
