- Jan 24, 2025: Audio is different from video says Eric Silver, the Head of Development at Multitude Productions. He filmed the process of recording a portion of a podcast with Amanda McLoughlin, and wrote up his thoughts. “Why do we want to dive into this wholly-different-and-filled-with-its-own-distinct-problems pool when we have our not-perfect pool here?”
- Nov 21, 2023: Eric Silver, the Head of Creative at Multitude Productions, has written a piece for Fast Company suggesting that "Podcasting needs to get professional". He suggests much of podcasting is stuck in "the hobbyist way of thinking", and that deals they sign with networks are exploitative.
- Dec 6, 2022: Multitude Productions has announced they'll be offering a set of new classes for working podcasters. A new set of four-week seminars, they're named The Multitude Extension School for Folks Who Want to Podcast More and Better (MESFWTPMAB for short, and we're really not making this up). The first round of classes will run from Jan 16 2023: registration is open now.
- Nov 29, 2022: The founders of Multitude Productions in Greenpoint NY have shown a local website round their office. The company employs six people and makes a living for 25 podcasters.
- Mar 30, 2021: A thing we wish more companies did: Multitude Productions gives its staff time to connect, advise and consult with people from underrepresented groups in podcasting and audio.
