- May 3: OP3’s John Spurlock is interviewed by Castopod. The tool gives public, comparable data about podcasts - here’s data from some of the shows using it, and here is data for our daily podcast. It’s free; Podnews is a monthly financial supporter (and you, big podcast company, should be too).
- Feb 13: Castopod explains some of the technical aspects of podcast measurement, and highlights OP3 as a potential solution.
- Jan 26: Whisper is a free download for the more technically advanced which will produce automated transcripts for you to edit further: open podcast platform Castopod wrote a blog post on how to install it. There are a number of free VTT editor programs online.

- May 3, 2023: Ad Aures has launched a new podcast hosting solution on Castopod.com for those who don't wish to host their own server. The open-source Castopod remains freely available.
