  • There are now more than one million podcasts to choose from in Apple Podcasts, according to the My Podcast Reviews service. The number ticked over to over a million on Saturday. 46% of those podcasts have published at least one episode in the last ninety days.

    • The number of new shows has been exponentially increasing over the past year. This graphic shows that the number of shows in Apple Podcasts increased by over 60,000 for the first time last month.
  • Transcription service otter·ai has altered its free plan. The import feature is now available for paying customers only: Basic Plan users get three trials of imports per account. The Basic Plan continues to offer free recording and Zoom-syncing, to a maximum of 40 minutes per transcription.
