Do you know anyone under 18 making audio in the UK? The Young Audio Awards is for them: they’ve until mid February to enter. Winners are offered a chance to host their own show on a national radio station, along with mentorship, masterclass events and state-of-the-art audio recording equipment.

Blubrry has posted its data for 2021. Their top podcast for the year is the Lex Fridman Podcast, with Hungarian-language podcast A hétköznapok kapaszkodói at #4. Apple Podcasts is the #1 platform, and 55.3% of all downloads went to US listeners.

iHeart’s Premiere Networks has launched the Coast to Coast AM Paranormal Podcast Network, promising a slate of podcasts focused on the paranormal, supernatural and unexplained.
