Tips and tricks

The Tech Stuff - with RSS․com

  • Satoshis․Stream is a new service that allows anyone to earn Bitcoin from their podcast. Using the podcast:value tag (but a tool to help if you can’t add it to your own podcast’s RSS feed), it’s much easier to use than previous services; the podcast put together by Podnews Editor James Cridland and Sam Sethi, Podland, signed up to use it, and within the first twelve hours we’ve made 3129 sats ($1.72).
  • Meanwhile, Breez has a podcast:value podcast player on both iOS and Android that works well and looks good - which allows you to contribute Bitcoin as you listen to your favourite podcasters. You’ll find Podnews here as a podcast to listen to.
  • PolkaCast has published their protocol architecture. It promises that “to create a true equal distribution and creator privileges, the PoS+PoC dual consensus model is implemented on the Runtime smart contract. Based on the PoC, each podcast creator will enjoy his or her own rights and interests.” Google Translate has failed to help, and we’ve no idea what this means.
