Podchaser has launched the Podchaser Feed, a personalised feed of the latest podcast episodes, guest appearances, ratings & reviews, curated lists, follows, and more - built for more effective podcast discovery . It launched in beta in September. Follow Podnews here.

A podcast monitoring service has been launched by TVEyes, a company that also monitors television and radio broadcasts for the name of your company, your candidate or your concern. TVEyes is monitoring more than 13,000 of the most popular podcasts, according to the press release.

Vox Media now has 200 podcasts. The company had only 75 in January. Axios reports that podcasting for the company is “an eight figure business”.

nonsense in your RSS feed doesn’t look nice. Turns out that in most cases, you really want to just encode special characters by the equivalent of PHP’shtmlspecialchars("your text",ENT_XML1);
rather than smothering everything with CDATA. So that’s what we did. -
