• A live podcast on Twitch - Westwood One Podcast Network stars Eric Bischoff and Conrad Thompson of 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff are doing an exclusive live broadcast of their podcast on Twitch while co-streaming episodes of Doctor Who. We’re told “You won’t want to miss Eric and Conrad experiencing the show as only they could – through the eyes of wrestling guys.”

• What are podcasters talking about? FluidDATA is monitoring and transcribing over 500,000 podcasts - their dashboard shows that 'World Cup’ is the most popular subject right now.

• Nielsen release a report saying that podcast fans are big barbecue sauce, ketchup, and sunscreen buyers, too. Avid podcasters are 11% more likely to purchase ketchup.

• Wondery’s Inside Jaws is being considered for possible TV adaptation. Host Mark Ramsey “wrote the seven-part series as a television show without visuals. That should make it easily adaptable to TV.”
