Enhanced analytics from Spreaker, kind of; plus praise for ESPN's 30 for 30.
July 3, 2017
Spreaker releases enhanced analytics - this time, follower tracking. A Follower, distinct from a subscriber, is comprised of "an actual person with a profile you can look at". You need to follow from the Spreaker website or app.
Major praise for ESPN's brand new podcast, 30 for 30, in Sports Illustrated. "The experience was so pleasurable that it reinforced once again why podcasting remains something all sports media outlets should bet on for the future." Good detail on how it all works.
How to generate leads from your podcast - general advice covering much about podcast production, and some nice stats.
Programming note: As you'd expect from a US holiday weekend, it's oh so quiet for news. Probably therefore worth me asking a) please add me to your announce lists and reach out - firstname.lastname@example.org works; b) please share podnews with your colleagues and friends; tweet it and Facebook it and LinkedIn it. After just one month, this has over 200 high quality subscribers on email (including some Very Important People Indeed), over 600 visits to the website and a high growth trajectory. Thank you for your support.
