Podcast Movement delgates gather

Podcasters are converging on Philadelphia PA, USA, for Podcast Movement 2018. The conference starts tomorrow, but pre-conference events are taking part today; the Twitter hashtag for the event is #PM18. The Editor of Podnews is moderating a panel on Audience Acquisition tomorrow (Tues) at 11.00am.

Cleanfeed, a studio quality product for remote interviews or co-hosting, has announced a set of new features including echo cancellation, an improved audio engine, better meters, and more controls of stereo mixes.

Podcast host Transistor is set to launch publicly on 1 August. It says it offers “podcast hosting and analytics for professionals who want more listeners”. It’s also announced it has completed integration with Spotify.

French music service Deezer is adding podcasts to their product. Speaking on The New Media Show, Blubrry’s Todd Cochrane said that Deezer have an API in place, and are approaching podcast companies for content.
