Next Radio, the radio and podcasting conference, is on now in central London. Speakers include Omny Studio, Acast, and a number of independent podcasters. Later in the week we’ll link to videos from the event.

An article in Dutch about music licensing for podcasts, interviewing Buma/Stemra, the Dutch collection agencies. Good news: there is a licence you can get to use music. Bad news: “These Buma / Stemra licenses only apply to music that is aimed at the Netherlands. If your online radio station or podcast is successful internationally, you will have to make separate licenses abroad.” - and “When uploading music, we can not always arrange that for you because we do not manage the rights to the recording.”
