  • Magellan have looked closely at the podcast advertising within those naughty podcasts who are manipulating the Apple Podcast Charts, and whether it differs from others. It does.

  • A new video sharing service called Portal has been launched. Variety reports that it’s been built with monetisation in mind, and you can charge as little as $0.01 per video. Of note for podcasters: “Portal plans to add a subscription option for individual content creators as well as the addition of audio-only content in the coming months.” (our bold).
