    Somethin'Else, the podcast and radio producer bought by Sony Music Entertainment in 2021, is to pull out of making 18 different radio shows for the BBC. The Media Podcast reported that other programme producers have also pulled out, saying that BBC production budgets - at a reported £800 for a two-hour music show - are too small to be viable.

    Please Tell Me A Story is a brand-new comedy podcast from Somethin'Else and Sony Music Entertainment. Led by Omid Djalili, it features six comedians telling the same story to each other. But can they pass the story on without twisting the tale?

    Kermode & Mayo’s Take launched last week - the replacement for the BBC Radio 5 Live show, now produced under the Somethin'Else brand. Film reviews and rather a lot more, it's one of the UK's longest-running podcasts.
