Podtrac released its rankers for August. The Ezra Klein Show was a new entry for the biggest podcasts; NPR has jumped from #6 to #4 in the publisher ranker. The list includes participating publishers only.

Podtrac is now measuring over 14% of all new episodes, another record for the company, says Livewire. The second-largest, Chartable, slipped down to 6.7% last month. Chartable’s analytics was down for almost three weeks, but its analytics dashboard has now been restored.

The Dan Bongino Show has posted its audience numbers - claiming 16,382,838 downloads in July - aided by his insight as a former Secret Service agent following the attempted Trump assassination. The show was number 5 in Podtrac, should you wish to do some comparisons, though Podtrac measures unduplicated audience rather than downloads.

Podtrac’s rankers for July have been released. There’s no change in the US publisher top 10; globally, The Daily Wire enters the top 5. iHeart is still #1 for everything, everywhere, except the top US podcasts, where The Daily from The New York Times remains top. MrBallen is a new entry at #19. The ranker measures participating publishers only through a combination of redirects and logfile analysis.
