Today Mamamia announced its #1 beauty podcast, You Beauty, will become a daily show from May 31st.

This comes in response to the exponential growth of the show - its audience increased by more than 47% at the start of the year (Omny, Jan-Feb 2021).

Already Australia’s most downloaded beauty podcast, You Beauty launched in 2018 and has surged to almost 6 million downloads with a highly engaged social media group of over 53,000 members.

The ground-breaking move to a daily format is in response to listener and commercial demand for more beauty podcast content from Mamamia.

Mamamia’s Executive Editor, beauty journalist and co-host, Leigh Campbell, said: “Over the past three years, beauty has evolved into a legitimate entertainment genre for women and You Beauty is the leading player in that space, both within the industry and for women around Australia. Women simply cannot get enough and once again we are proud to be the innovators in the growing beauty audio category.”

You Beauty’s new daily format will include interviews with experts, product reviews and recommendations, beauty news and listener questions. And the daily episodes will feature Mamamia’s team of rotating co-hosts, led by Leigh Campbell along with content creator Kelly McCarren, beauty editor Erin Docherty and beauty journalist Sharon Hunt.

On June 8th Mamamia is holding a trade launch event, ‘The Democratisation Of Beauty,’ to share the three major shifts in the beauty space that have seen a dramatic transformation in the way women approach this fast-moving category.
