Wondery Launches Wondery+, Curated Podcast Subscription Service for UK Listeners
Wondery, an Amazon company, the global podcast studio and network responsible for over 55 #1 hit shows globally, today announces the launch of Wondery+, a curated subscription service for podcast fans in the UK.
The podcast subscription service, available now, offers subscribers exclusive podcast content, ad-free listening as well as early access to new episodes of popular shows. The revamped Wondery app provides a localised and curated experience for podcast fans to discover new, immersive content including:
The Price of Paradise: Hosted by Alice Levine, of British Scandal, this brand-new UK original limited series follows the tumultuous real-life story of a woman who swaps her life in suburban Hampshire to buy a private island in the Caribbean, sees all episodes available to Wondery+ subscribers to binge now.
The Bachelor of Buckingham Palace: From Vespucci UK, this podcast explores one of the world’s most unusual reality dating shows. Also from Vespucci, the previously released One Click, narrated by Elle Fanning, who investigates how a single internet click can change your life forever, is also now exclusive to Wondery+.
New seasons of Wondery UK originals, include the new season of Terribly Famous: Kate Moss Says Yes, hosted by Anna Leong Brophy and Emily Lloyd-Saini, as well as the multi-award winning British Scandal, The Spy Who, and Legacy are available one week early for Wondery+ subscribers.
A vast library of limited series, including the gripping Ghost Story, Hooked on Freddie, and the exclusive investigative series Who Killed Daphne?, Harsh Reality, and Ambie Award-winning Stolen Hearts.
Fresh releases by top UK producers, including the popular true-crime show RedHanded, which releases one-week early and offers exclusive bonus Shorthand episodes weekly and the hilarious Brydon&, which also releases one-week early on Wondery+. In addition, on 1 May, Wondery+ will exclusively launch a new limited series from Audio Always, Answers for Claudia, which investigates the disappearance of British chef, Claudia Lawrence.
Wondery+ also offers an extensive range of podcasts across all genres, with over 45,000 episodes available to listeners ad-free at launch. Fans will also have access to this growing library of UK shows, in addition to Wondery global hits like Dr. Death, Scamfluencers, Diss and Tell, Even the Rich, Business Wars, and much more.
